These type of situations are becoming more common each year. With the amount of traveling in vehicles we all do I believe it is essential to have an emergency kit with you in the car, especially during the colder months.
So what do you put in your kit? That can vary depending on if your traveling with other adults, children or by yourself. If your stuck in your car for an extended period of time like what happened in Calgary last week you will need at least the basics (food, water, heat, shelter).
Here is my list:
- Granola and energy bars
- 1 L bottle of water
- Electric Blanket
- Roadside emergency kit which contains (booster cables, safety triangles, roadside flares and a flashlight)
What else is in your kit?
